Note: The tractor runs OK. It seems like it smokes a little more than other diesels I have seen but I suppose that's the nature of a 37 year old beast, rebuilt in 1977.
I believe the injector pump is leaking where the black "cap" meets the pump base, as seem between the red arrows in the below photo. I have not tried to tighten the "cap" because the screws on top are wired in place.
I have also notices what appear to be small bubbles coming out from the washer below the front nut securing the injector pump and the base of the injector pump where it meets the engine block, also noted by the red arrows.. When I changed the oil last week, I noticed that the oil seemed very thin. Since I have changed the oil I have not been able to tell if any diesel is getting into the oil at this time.
