This was a tree joined with the one you see standing. The center had rotted out and this part of the tree was standing at about a 65 degree slant from the other one, for many years, until November, 2003. It was then I guess the excessive rain finally made the ground soft enough to let it fall.
Pulling the stump out to the burn pile. It was too heavy for the loader to lift completely off the ground.
A 10" diameter pine tree I cut down.
The stump for the above 10" Pine tree I cut down.
This Pine was not as large in diameter so I dug up the roots on one side with the back hoe then pushed it over with the back hoe, and removed it with the front end loader.
But it sure was TALL!
